Games Day @ The Maltings (Entry 22nd November)

This ticket allows one adult entry to our Games Day at the Maltings on the 22nd November.

The event runs from 12pm - 5pm.

Please bring receipt of purchase to the day to be allowed entry.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

As well as normal gaming:

• We have a special Compile Tournament.

In the card game Compile, you are competing Artificial Intelligences trying to understand the world around you. Two players select three Protocols each to test. Play cards into your Protocols’ command lines to breach the threshold and defeat your opponent to Compile. But be careful! Moving and revealing cards have immediate action. You have to think like a computer, and think ahead, or you’ll end up playing right into your opponent’s hands. First to Compile all three Protocols grasps those concepts to win the game. Control your opponent’s Protocols with card actions, Compile your own as fast as possible, and Compile your reality.

Each participant will leave with exclusive collectable content, ranging from alternate art cards, metal tokens and pins and exclusive playmats. Seats are limited to 8 people and please select the adult + Compile Tournament ticket option.

• We will be running a Magic the Gathering: Star Trek draft. If you wish to sign up, please purchase the adult + MtG Star Trek Draft ticket option. • Ever wanted to learn Backgammon? We have special guests from Cambridge Backgammon Club along to teach you how.
• We have a demonstrator from Asmodee demonstrating games.
• We will have our local Cambridgeshire game designers along looking for you to help them playtest their new games.
