Kelp: Offshore Offspring Expansion: Expected June

Offshore Offspring introduces brand-new components and strategies for both the Shark and the Octopus.

As the Octopus, you must protect your young while mastering a completely new magnetic modular block system with swappable tiles. Unlock different camouflage colors, each with unique abilities. Koriko Book & Boxed Editions: Expected July

A tarot-driven story game of novice witches, urban exploration and teenage drama for solo & shared-world play.

This is a game for one player, designed for contemplative solo play. It’s a bubbling cauldron of simple rules and writing prompts, stirred together to produce the story of a teenage witch spending a year away from home in an unfamiliar city called Koriko.

The book contains find all the rules to get you set up and playing, plus all of the content you'll need to play—the prompts, seven chapters to guide you through your witch's year, and the 22 different friends (confidants) you can meet in your story. It has beautiful gold foiling on the cover, and two ribbon bookmarks. It also comes with two sheets of stickers for your journal, and a printed bookmark.

What's in the box?

• 21 screen-printed wooden dice, with a lovely little cotton bag to keep them in. The dice also do double-duty as coloured tokens if you'd like to play the game using the alternative rules, as described in the main book.
• Custom-printed cards for each of the 56 prompts and 22 confidants in the game, plus a couple of reference cards, all in a cute little tuckbox.

Deep in the tropical jungle to the west of the Everdell Valley lies the country of Emerland, a vibrant land known for its artistic and musical culture, and for its abundance of natural resources, including valuable gems mined from its many underground caverns. Tiny critters found here — mostly insects — are fastidious and clever Helpers, often assisting the larger critters in their work and in optimizing or bringing beauty to their cities and homes.

The jungles are vast and dense, and expeditions into the further realms of the land are undertaken often. There was once a mysterious civilization that dwelt here, long lost to history, but archaeological discoveries are beginning to shed a light on the ancients.

In Emerland, you send critter Workers to various locations on the board to gather resources. You use these resources to play cards face-up in front of you, forming your jungle city and helping you to score points. Each turn, you take one of 6 possible actions: Place a Worker (with or without Helpers), Place a Helper, Play a Card, Use an Artisan Card, Excavate with your Archaeologist or Prepare for Season.

The game unfolds over three rounds. In each round, players take turns moving around the central Chandelier on the main board, carefully choosing where to stop in order to perform key actions—drawing cards and collecting various types of Trencadís tiles. These resources are then used to play cards and progress up the Chimneys on their personal boards. Each round concludes once all players have completed a full circuit around the Chandelier. At the end of the third round, the player with the highest and most balanced combination of VP will be declared the winner!

On your turn play one card face down as a vote or as a protective legion, or face up as an action or a permanent character boost. Roll the die to end your turn and potentially advance the exile track. When the exile token reaches a red square, votes are revealed and the character(s) with the most votes are exiled (unless protected by a legion). Spend gold to play an extra card per turn. Earn gold by working with your allies and backstabbing them at the opportune moments. Exiled players have a chance to earn their way back into the game or convince a powerful player to take them on as a devoted follower. The final un-exiled player wins!

Players must work together to cooperatively stack books on top of a tower of cards. Cards have instructions on which books to place on top of it, and restrictions of where most of the books need to be placed. Don't be fooled though, placing books one at a time is harder than it initially looks!
